Gwilym makes a delicious Lyre's non-alcoholic spirits Manhattan.

In a large vessel full of ice add: 

45 ml x Lyre's American Malt

15 ml x Lyre's Rosso Vermouth

7 dashes bitters

Stir, then strain into martini glass. Garnish with orange zest peel.

Enjoy!

Sam from Hancocks brings in some Lyre's Vermouth & Triple Sec to make a Negroni. 

In a chilled wine glass full of ice add:

30 ml x Lyre's Vermouth

30 ml x Lyre's Triple Sec

30 ml x East Imperial Burma Tonic

Add slice of lemon & a slice of orange. Enjoy!

Gwilym celebrates Dry Curious July by making a non-alcoholic, Express-no-tini:

  • 30ml Lyre's Coffee Originale.
  • 30ml Lyre's Dark Cane Spirit.
  • 22.5ml of Harpoon Coffee Concentrate.

Dry shake (no ice), followed by a quick wet shake (with ice). Double strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a coffee beans. All the tastey, none of the wastey.

The boys from Thomson Whisky make a Negroni and Boulevardier:

  • 1 part Victor's Gin (Negroni) or 1 part Thomson's Whisky (Boulevardier).
  • 1 part red vermouth.
  • 1 part Campari.

Typically you should use 20-30mls per part, depending on how big your glass is. Fill a large mixing glass with ice, add the ingredients in the order above and then fill the rest of the glass with ice and begin stirring. Use a metal straw to taste intermittently while stirring until it's just right (you'll know).

Strain into a tumbler filled with ice, and garnish with orange peel (make sure to give it a twist and wipe it around the brim of the glass). Alternatively. the Boulevardier can be served in a chilled martini glass sans ice (same garnish).

Jonny and Big Thirsty are indulging their alcoholism once again. They had a great cocktail this week. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

  • 50mL of tequila
  • Orange peels
  • Two freshly squeezed ostriches
  • Gypsy tears
  • Serve in a tall glass with ice

Jonny and Big Hungry are back in the best corner. The cocktail corner.

Into a boston shaker add:

  • 1 x feijoa (cut in half, and scoop out  insides)
  • 300mL of Tanqueray Gin
  • 15mL of Clove sugar syrup
  • 30mL of Lime juice

Add ice and shake. Strain into a tall glass. Top with fever tree indian tonic water.

  • Top with fever tree Smokey ginger beer

Jonny & Big Hungry keep it very simple and make cocktail with the last of the Glengarry stock. In a martini glass add:

The East Imperial Ginger beer is amazing! Very nicely spiced.

Note: 

They experiment by adding 20 ml De Kuyper White Crème de Cacao

It tastes better without the De Kuyper!
