I’m sure you’ve received enough emails about “these difficult times” to know that businesses are struggling right now. But with New Zealand having been in lockdown, this has been especially tough on our music venues. Pubs, clubs, underground cellars, wherever you go to see your favorite band on a Friday night. They’re crucial community hubs, and right now they need a hand.
Save Our Venues is looking to raise over $500,000 for venues across Aotearoa.The campaign for Whammy! and Wine Cellar just closed, seeing them reach their stretch goal of $100,000 (!), but you can still contribute towards Neck of the Woods, Cassette 9, Galatos, Ding Dong Lounge, or any of the new venues being nominated daily.
