The Titirangi Festival of Music is back, bringing the community together in that leafiest of suburbs. Get ready for three vibrant days of music, art, and so much more. And if you still had any doubts that west is best, just check out this heavy hitting line-up:
Thursday, March 28: Direct from New Orleans, Grammy nominees Cha Wa are performing their top notch Mardi-Gras music. Playing support is Tom Rodwell, plus you'll be able to quench your thirst with Black Sands craft beer and grab some kiwi soul food at the Hangi master food truck.
Friday, March 29: The mighty Sola Rosa are performing, complete with 7-piece (seven!) live band and support from 95bFM favourites SKILAA. If that wasn't enough for you, Friday also features a rare/free/live/outdoor performance from SJD at sunset. Gorgeous! With support from from up-and-comers Blu Fish, and local African music troupe Mhara Marimba with the Titirangi Community Choir.
Saturday, March 30: Now here's the big one - the wonderful Bic Runga and band! Playing with support from 95bFM's own SPERBER and DJ Sister Rosa. Plus, a free family friendly outdoor fiesta from midday with music, a magical MC, food trucks, street musicians, an art trail, and loads of snazzy prizes.
