After a sold-out solo tour in 2019, Joan as Police Woman is heading back to New Zealand with her band in tow. Since then, she’s managed to make three albums Live (2021), Cover Two (2020) and now the extremely brand new The Solution is Restless with Tony Allen and Dave Okumu. Anyway, The Guardian said that her voice is “so wondrous and moving that it makes everyone else’s seem ordinary and mundane” so really, it would be pretty silly not to go, wouldn't it?
