To finish off today's show, we’re introducing a new segment called Strangest Things, talking about the weirdest news stories we could find. 

Liam’s looking into Demodex Folcurolum, a 0.3 mm mite that lives, sleeps, and breeds on our faces at all times. 

These organisms live in our pores and become dependent on our sustenance, causing them to lower their own amount of genes as they evolve.

To learn more, they had a chat with Alejandra Perotti from the University of Reading about her research on the mites and their future.
