James Krivchenia of Big Thief chats to Sof about their sixth studio album together, Double Infinity. Off the back of their 2022 Grammy-nominated record, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You, Double Infinity is the first record since long-time member and bassist Max Oleartchik left in 2024. Together, James and Sof discuss the collaborative recording process of the album, reconfiguring their approach together as a trio, and the intuitivity that comes from closeness to one another after years of making music together.

Elle spoke to Rose Brown of the noise rock trio Flooding, about their latest EP object 1. A texturally complex and thematically sardonic project, the three-piece manages to balance Brown's husky vocals with the hectic instrumental stylings of Cole Billings on bass and drummer Zach Cunningham. Elle has been listening to nothing else lately, and you won't be either.
