A noisy version of The Border Radio Show. Running amok with everything turned up to eleven.

Absolute chaos around the radio station with the university demolition/rebuild and the laneway site set up making access and parking not very practical. So rode in on my bike and raided the bFM vinyl and CD racks and played a few off the computer system as well. If you liked Border Radio in the 1980's, you're going to like this.

So much beautiful music in the world! This show was folky with a bit of bluegrass and some Tom Waits gravelly on the side. Bernie talked about getting to know Rambling Jack Elliott.

First show of the new decade featuring a bunch of songs I've never played before. Oldies. Newies. Cheesy. Nasty. Nice. Strange. Short. Long. Stories. Feelings. It's an eclectic mix.

A rolling tribute to the blues featuring Rick Bryant , Arthur Baysting , Roland Brown and Elliot Brown. A sad sad week with the passing of Arthur Baysting and Rick Bryant. Monster men of music , too young . As a young man they were my heroes now they're Falling of the perch. RIP !

On tonights show all the songs are about or involve booze and/or drugs. Just for kicks, it's pretty good fun. *Not an endorsement. Kids ask your parents.

Los Lobos then a bit of Stevie Ray mooshed in after ZZ Topp and we're off. The Swearengens and Jenny Don't and Spurs keep the country country as well as new friends, The Hacks & Slow Motion Cowboy. Beautiful new song from Ryan Bingham and a stunning rendition of Ode To Billy Joe with Bobbie Gentry live at the BBC. And in an exciting radio first -The Hood Gurus 'Hayride to Hell' parts one and two back to back!! Could only play the Johnnys after that. Heaps more as well of course.
