"Shine On You crazy Diamond" covered by Christy Moore is the song used to close Border Radio this week. If you do nothing else in your life today listen to this song and Iris De Ments protest against the right wing " I'm Going Down To Sing In Texas" . It shows there is hope for the world after all !!!!!

A few different tangents this week. 80's and 90's alt ladies like tanya Donnely and Michelle Shocked. Some cartoonish hillbilly vibes like Eastbound Jesus, literally a song about a dude 'wrastlin' a bear' English lads playing the blues, Stevie Ray too, calssic Ribert Earle keen and a doozy from James McMurtry. As well as a decent chunk of awesome NZ tunes including a couple that are brand new from Miles Calder and Adam Hattaway and the Haunters.

A couple of technology management issues during an otherwise pretty cool show. Interview with Miles Calder about his album Autopilot Life and accompanying tour - and a whole bunch of songs from the U-Turn Collective, sent to me from Arizona on an actual record. Awesome tunes too. Do some discovering.
