The midpoint in Stevie Wonder's dream run of seventies electric soul LPs Innervisions marked 50 years this week, so we spin a few lesser-known favourites from it. Starting with 1972's "Music of My Mind" and "Talking Book" Lps, Innervisions (1973), and "Fulfillingness' First Finale" (1974), and culminating in 1976's mammoth "Songs in the key of Life", Stevie's albums reforged soul music into a new vehicle for his fresh brand of passionate, funky and endlessly inventive music, featuring the top-flight cast of musicians and backed by the otherworldly sounds of TONTO. Don't you worry 'bout a thing, turn it up!
