On this week’s Swap Meet we marked the passing of Eddie Palmieri, a giant of Latin jazz and salsa. We played a few of his tunes to celebrate his life and music.
We also tipped our hats to a couple of funk milestones – 50 years since Kool and the Gang’s Spirit of the Boogie and the Ohio Players’ Honey. And to round things off, it was our own DJ Kirk James’s birthday. Brrap!
