Today on your bFM Breakfast: Delaney's off supporting family at the Commonwealth Games; all four pol coms are trapped by last night's storm; Sam's in to recap the Top Ten; and it turns out all our queens are reptiles. Or at least, that's what Troy's Sons of Kemet picks suggest this week. AND, part one of Rachel's interview with US Girls' Meghan Remy. Choice.
Today on your bFM Breakfast: Phil and Mikey catch up over parks and of course, that ol' (new) fuel tax; what could Mikey be that is fun but not a game?; shhhh, it's starting - that's right, we're back with bFM's bMovies for all you need to know about NZIFF. This week Pietra Brettkelly talks to us about her Yellow Is Forbidden (2018) and Pennie reviews what's good with Westwood (2018); and surveillance, privacy, webcams, Mikey wants to hide!; it's a full-on morning, don't miss out.
A delicious What Am I? game this week! Well done to Louis for scooping it up. Bravo! And thank you to Noah for joining us and helping with identification.
Crammed and messy (in a good way) show with Durty Murdur live in the studio to promote The Gunslingers Ball, as well as an interview with CW Stoneking ahead of his show February 19. A couple of tunes I think were pretty flash from 2018, Emily Fairlight, Calexico, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers and Mary Elaine Jenkins. And the show opens with the epic 16 minute Neil Young, Ramada Inn, so shit can be got together.
We're doing the Kids' Show live in Aotea Square, 8th December from 7-9am. We'll have live music from Tanya Batt and Little Ripples, breakfast for the kids, tea and coffee for the adults, plus lots of activities and fun and games! Please come along!
