Returning to the Auckland stage for the first time in 14 years the revolutionary band are celebrating their 40th anniversary by playing their classic Rum, Sodomy & the Lash album. Released in 1985, the album is regarded as one of the greatest folk albums of all time. Get ready for raw energy, poetic lyrics and infectious melodies from this legacy performance.
The tour brings together original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy, alongside a talented line-up of musicians and guest vocalists. Playing at the NZICC on Saturday 11 April, the band will play the iconic record in full with a special selection of material that's quintessentially The Pogues.
