Album of the Week: The Linda Lindas  - 'No Obligation'

We’ve been fans of The Linda Lindas since their viral video performing their song ‘racist sexist boy’ in the LA Public Library, and now they have a second album!

This band has the kind of talent that might make one repeat a mantra ‘it’s ok to not be as successful as high schooler, Debbie Harry was 31 when Blondie released their first album’.

No Obligation, is the second full-length release from The Linda Lindas and further advances their unironic, joyful, and exciting trajectory of mashing up L.A. punk with post punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave and rock en español. Written and recorded by the band during spring breaks, winter breaks, and long weekends. From the first moment of their sophomore release it is clear that The Linda Lindas are here to defy expectations and challenge norms.

Available wherever good music is sold.
