Daniel Clarke, the Director of Auckland Live, is in the studio to tell us what his team are up to with the huge range of diverse events on in Aotea Square throughout February for Summer in the Square. Everything from poetry to Afrobeats. It’s whānau-friendly and it’s free!
We end the year with a cracker! Singer, songwriter, and ocean sailor Andrew Fagan took up the challenge to be our final Demo God for the year and chose the prompt ’The Exploration of Space’.
Finn with the penultimate Demo Gods. He’s making room in the recording van to do a demo with Andrew Fagan, fresh from a 20-date nationwide tour, for the last Demo Gods of 2025. We’ll hear it next week on the last show of the year!
Charlotte pops in to do her civic duty and tell Karyn about Night Mayors: creatives having their say on what they would do with the city if they were Mayor.
Jess Bailey, aka Fables, showcases the demo she made with Finn. The prompt was ’Surf the wave, baby’! and while it doesn’t have a lot to do with surfing it is very fine indeed!
Finn joins Karyn this week to introduce this fortnight's Demo God who happens to be Jess Bailey of Fables! The prompt for next week's demo is 'Surf the wave, baby!'
