Today's Morning Glory was a tribute to our good friend Jules Barnett. Playing songs that he loved and that he was a part of creating, alongside an archived interview between Lucia and Jules about Thorazine Shuffle in 2017.
Thank you to everybody who sent in songs to dedicate to him and shared their beautiful memories. And thank you to Jules for everything he did for so many of us as a production engineer, drummer and friend. We love you.

Dedicated to all the musicians of Wellington: past, present, and future.
On Morning Glory, Sofia Kent spoke with Daniel Beban about his first, but not last, publication called Future Jaw-Clap: The Primitive Art Group and Braille Collective.
The story follows self-made musicians of the jazz ensemble Primitive Art Group, acting as a portal into the punk jazz scene amidst the backdrop of a choppy 80's Wellington.
They discuss Beban's extensive music and sound ventures, compiling a period of time, Robert Muldoon, and how the book hopes to serve future generations to come.
Sof spoke with Guillem Peeters, AKA Eterna (UK), about his most recent album, Debunker. They talk about Peeters' creative process, how living in London has impacted his musical output, and collaborating with other artists such as NINA.
After their Smokefree Rockquest national win, the incredible Top Shelf join us for Fancy New Band thanks to NZ on Air to play their original song, O ai a'u, as well as a cover of Supergroove's Can't Get Enough !
Sof spoke to Sharon Van Etten (USA) about her latest record, Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory. They spoke about Van Etten working in full collaboration with her long-time band for the first time, the heavy themes of the album, and who to listen to when you want emotional solidarity.
On Morning Glory, Elle had the pleasure of speaking with Buck Raines about his album 'Blunt Objects.' A collection of sounds that hop through a range of genres. We spoke about his writing process, collaborators and what ties this project all together.
"I like to hone in on being excited. If something excites you in the moment, that's a situation you have to pursue"
Producer, instrumentalist, and singer Pachyman joins Sofia on Morning Glory in anticipation of his return to New Zealand, with shows from Auckland to Lyttleton.
Pachy spoke about how he came to find his recognisable reggae dub sound from his roots of playing in reggae and post rock bands in Puerto Rico and later influenced by his move to LA.
Lately, it's been about expression: in performance, chord pickings, and laying down a drum-centric foundation to create a "mantra-esque" atmosphere to enjoy existence in that moment.
Pachy drops names of influence such as King Tubby, Victor Axelrod, his time playing with The Expanders, using an old board from Lee "Scratch" Perry, and memories with his wife in Puerto Rican mountains that inspired the synth heavy track: "Toyota Nuevo".
Catch Pachyman at the Wine Cellar, 27th Feb in Auckland!
Sof spoke with De Stevens of School Fair about their new record 'bird the kid', spoken word/poetry in music, and experimenting with genre. Whakarongo mai!
