This week on a sunny Monday Morning Glory, Milly is joined by her dear friends from the hugely sucessful band PARK RD and special guest all the way from Wellington Lochlan (AKA The Mirrored Self). Jam packed with insightful music chat, giggles and an acapella performance of Tom from PARK RD's first ever song. If you listen well and listen closely you'll hear the first spin of an unreleased song off PARK RD's upcoming album. All this and a bit more on a very special Morning Glory

"El Camino" translates to the road or, as I prefer it,the way.
Berlin based artist Alba Rose sings el camino in her song The Long Road chronicling the journey of making the way through transitional periods, exiting shadow into light. She joins Sofia Kent on Morning Glory to discuss her latest EP First Light.
First Light presents as a melodic chapter, offering insight into Alba's poetic journalling from break ups to reconnecting with an extensively large Spanish family.
Her biggest body of work to date, First Light evokes a shimmery indie-soul essence paired sweetly with a New Zealand summer.
"It's about honouring those fleeting moments of connection in the face of the world we live in today, and the terrors that everyone has to experience on a daily basis... honouring both of those things without one negating the other"
Uncle Quentin joins Sofia Kent on Morning Glory to talk about their new singles and upcoming album!
They discuss the crooning and evocative nature of love songs (for your friends), balaclavas, Leigh Bowery, and the art of being unsettling.
Awesome new Riot Grrrl outfit Lipstick Cherry shred in the studio with songs of "fifteen year old girl angst" absolutely kick starting your Friday morning ! Thank you as always to NZ on Air ❤️
The lovely Paul Cathro came up to play some songs ahead of their single release next week! Live listeners said: "Bloody loving Fancy New Band today," "I really loved today's fancy new band!" "It's a super banger!" and "F*** THIS IS MEAN!! I LOVE THIS BAND!!" and more. Good thing you can re-listen to it here!
