Leaning right into the whole lockdown vibe. Sad and lonesome. Alone and forsaken. You know the drill.

Kirsten plays influential Black blues artists including women artists of the 1920s and 1930's, alongside new releases. Plus a seasoning of rockabilly. A standout track is Rosie Flores covering Joe Ely's "Boxcars" - a great song and a great singer's interpretation. Pure soul coming through.

Roped in at the last minute bringing the brand new tunes and one or two old familiar friends. Mainly artists from New West records, but also new Los Lobos and James McMurtry, and new local tunes from Swampland and Kendal Ellise. Also a nice in the studio performance of Bob Dylans Dont think twice by Raylee Bradford.
