Jonny interviews Judith Collins about the National Party's proposed changes to the Fair Pay Agreements legislation which the government has described as having the potential to save 'billions'.
First up, Deputy Mayor Desley Simpson gives Jonny and the listeners a quick traffic report due to closures on the bridge and SH20. Then they delve into the future of the Western Springs Stadium, and then the proposed upgrades to the Central Wharves, removal of The Cloud, and the current public consultation that runs until 11 May. You can make submissions on the Auckland Council website here.
Jonny is joined by Daniel Kelly from the Science Faculty to learn all about his doctoral research into ways to grow food without fueling climate change - using syntropic agroforestry techniques!
Jonny calls Will Toledo of Car Seat Headrest to discuss the band's forthcoming Rock Opera LP The Scholars. Described as audacious, ambitious and a reminder of what rock can be, The Scholars is well worth a very close listen! Whakarongo mai to hear about the process on this set-to-be legendary album out 2 May.
