On November 22nd, the government announced that New Zealand will be transitioning into the traffic light system on December 3rd. This will replace the current Covid-19 lockdown level system as well as encourage vaccine passes to be used at public venues. Emily Bell spoke with University of Canterbury mathematician professor Michael Plank about the traffic light system and how it would impact New Zealanders.
