The Wire with Jemima: August 11, 2020

This week on the Wire we have started our 2020 Election Coverage and this week we're looking at housing. 

Jemima speaks to lawyer and principal policy advisor Ronji Tanielu for the Salvation Army about the state of public housing. They discuss what the Salvation Army hopes to see a new government do to combat Aotearoa's waitlist for social housing.

Hanna looks into renting issues and the new amendments to the Residential Tenancies Act. She speaks to the Manawatū Tenants' Union and the New Zealand Property Investors' Federation about their different perspectives on the amendments and the future for renting policy in New Zealand.
