Allan Blackman joined host Rosetta and producer Lou for Dear Science to chat about the mathematics behind the lotto, Leslie John Comrie, and frying in space.

Rosetta spoke to ActionStation Director Kassie Hartendorp about the organisation condemning the government for not doing more to tax cooperations as bank profits soar during the cost of living crisis.

Produer Lou spoke to Professor Siouxie Wiles, microbiologist and associate professor from the Unviersity of Auckland, about the Government's announcement to drop mask mandates and isolation requirements.

Rosetta also spoke to Massey University associate professor Dr William Howerd on NZSIS's latest report on domestic security threats to Aotearoa, and the benefits and risks of publishing the report to the public.

Finally, Rosetta spoke to Dr Brendon Dunphy, senior lecturer for biological studies at The University of Auckland, about his research in using seabirds as oceanic indicators.
