A recent survey has found the number of people putting off paying for health check-ups because of financial reasons are high. 

Optometrists in particular are seeing fewer and fewer people make appointments, resulting in poorer health outcomes for Kiwis. 

Arno spoke with optometrist Andrew Yu to find out more about the study and to see how New Zealanders are handling health checkups.
