In this discussion, Damaso Reyes discusses some of the ways that we can identify misinformation and disinformation. Reyes is a researcher, speaker and trainer in the field of media and information literacy. An experienced journalist, his specialties include providing professional development training for educators and journalists around the world, teaching them how to better understand the (mis)information landscape and spot, and fight against, disinformation. Maria Armoudian spoke to him about the perceived proliferation of misinformation and so-called “fake news.”
