In a recent announcement, the government has stated that New Zealand will be comitting to the international effort to ban autonomous weaponary also known as killer robots in warfare. As technology develops, the likelyhood of killer drones being used during war in the near future is high. New Zealand, along with other countires and international organisations are joining together to enforce an international law which regulates and bans the use of killer robots.
