Well the battle for the Botany electorate started this week, with the news former Air NZ boss Christoper Luxon will be the National Party’s candidate for the seat. He’s getting compared to John Key left right and centre, but as his first appearance on morning radio proved, he can make some mistakes. So, despite the media storm over Christopher Luxon, can Jami-Lee Ross hold his seat as an independent MP? Everyone of course remembers the public dispute between Ross and National leader Simon Bridges, over political donations that captured the country’s attention last year.
