Lebanon’s government has resigned after days of protests following the explosion of 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored in Beirut’s port last week. Conor Knell reports that any change regarding corruption in Lebanon would be difficult because of sectarian divisions between Christians, Sunni and Shia Muslims.
