Mayor Wayne Brown has released a draft proposal for the Auckland Council Group’s Annual Budget 2023/2024.

It consists of small rate rises, reduction in council spending, and asset sales. 

However, amongst a rush to balance the books, the cuts to council spending may place some key council services at risk
