The Christian World Service along with fifty-five other organisations are calling for the New Zealand government to provide further aid to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. With Winter approaching in Afghanistan, humanitarian welfare organisations are concerned the various crises will get worse, and even more support will be needed for the people of Afghanistan whose government is currently controlled by the Taliban. Emily Bell spoke to the Director of Christian World Service Murray Overton about the current state of Afghanistan and what the New Zealand government could do to help.
