‘Set’ is a teachers council journal with a new issue focusing on civics, citizenship, and political literacy in education. The journal critiques what type of civic knowledge and citizenship is currently being taught and asks whose citizenship and what values are prioritised. Obama reduced the sentence of Wikileaks source Chelsea Manning 29 years before she was due to be released. In 2010, Manning released a trove of documents to Wikileaks.
