Peter Lucas Jones of Te Aupouri, Ngai Takoto, Te Rarawa, and Ngāti Kahu descent, is the General Manager of Te Hiku Media. Jones is part of the team who created Kōrero Māori, a programme designed to record and transcribe hours of Māori language in order to safeguard it, and create more opportunity in the digital age for Te Reo Māori to be present. Lillian Hanly spoke with Peter-Lucas and started by asking what Kōrero Māori is.
