James Krivchenia of Big Thief chats to Sof about their sixth studio album together, Double Infinity. Off the back of their 2022 Grammy-nominated record, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in YouDouble Infinity is the first record since long-time member and bassist Max Oleartchik left in 2024. Together, James and Sof discuss the collaborative recording process of the album, reconfiguring their approach together as a trio, and the intuitivity that comes from closeness to one another after years of making music together.
