"El Camino" translates to the road or, as I prefer it, the way.

Berlin based artist Alba Rose sings el camino in her song The Long Road chronicling the journey of making the way through transitional periods, exiting shadow into light. She joins Sofia Kent on Morning Glory to discuss her latest EP First Light.

First Light presents as a melodic chapter, offering insight into Alba's poetic journalling from break ups to reconnecting with an extensively large Spanish family. 

Her biggest body of work to date, First Light evokes a shimmery indie-soul essence paired sweetly with a New Zealand summer.

Today's Morning Glory was a tribute to our good friend Jules Barnett. Playing songs that he loved and that he was a part of creating, alongside an archived interview between Lucia and Jules about Thorazine Shuffle in 2017. 
Thank you to everybody who sent in songs to dedicate to him and shared their beautiful memories. And thank you to Jules for everything he did for so many of us as a production engineer, drummer and friend. We love you.
