Virues-Ortega joins Mikey to enlighten him about 'Applied Behaviour Analysis'. Hold on, this all sounds very academic. Is it? Just what is ABA and what can it be used for?

Today on your bFM Breakfast: Mike's got time to rhyme and room to move (uh oh); Sarah's inappropriate again; Jenna's brought in an oral history of NYC indie music in the early 2000s; and Ange updates our vinegar routines.

By now almost all of us have heard apple cider vinegar touted as some kind of cure-all wonder tonic... but are we taking it in the correct manner? Should it really _burn_ all the way down? What do you reckon, Ange?

Jenna's been living in a printed word flurry of late, but she's still had time to bring us in Meet Me in the Bathroom, Lizzy Goodman's oral history of the 2000s NYC indie music scene. A hefty tome covering The Strokes to Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem to Interpol, Goodman captures a very particular scene from the mouths of the very particular characters that made it happen. But do you have to be a fan? Or does the book stand on its own?

Today on your bFM Breakfast: Fabian's been chastened regarding social media use; Dr. Zemke and Mike are all about the hoops and jingles; we spin tunes and talk Italian goddesses with the 'King of Pop'; and Kate's got all the info you need to wade through the torrents of summer theatre.

With famous players including Stevie Nicks, Joel Gion and Nico - by hoop 'n' jingle, it's the tambourine. As a listener pointed out: "not the hardest percussion instrument, but the easiest to get wrong." Or, as art history suggests: "my tambourine, my prison / my tambourine, my handcuffs / my tambourine, my grave."

Fabian's back out West and wondering about the virtues of remakes that feature celebrated plot twists. Is it worth it if the new audience have literally seen what's coming? Fabian's also had our social media use thrown into stark relief by the new Aubrey Plaza vehicle Ingrid Goes West - a savage takedown of digital fomo creation, 'influencers' and 'gramming culture. Say cheese!

With his new album King of Pop out digitally today, Roy drops into 95bFM Breakfast to talk skate vids, Italian goddesses and the process of just making sh*t 'cause you enjoy it. Makes sense.

Today on your bFM Breakfast: we've caught a big Marlon (sorry); Assoc. Prof. Curtin is a wond'rous voice of reason; Mike attempts to refute all Delaney's 'sneaky vegetable' ideas; Troy delivers on dancing time; and Pearl's got "just something a bit diff'runt, ay".
