Rachel and Tess were on the ground at the APRA Silver Scrolls 2019, weaving their way through the champagne-toting crowd with microphones in hand, to bring you the hot scoop from the nominees and finalists.

The Beths, Tiny Ruins, BENEE, Aldous Harding and Avantdale Bowling Club were all up for the the 2019 APRA Silver Scroll Award, which recognises excellence in songwriting; with Aldous Harding eventually taking the crown for her brilliant track 'The Barrel'. We also spoke to Angelique Te Rauna who, alongside Tyna Keelan and Matauranga Te Rauna, wrote the APRA Maioha Award winning track 'Ka Ao'. Plus we heard from 95bFM fave Karl Steven who took the title of APRA Best Original Music in a Series Award for 'The Bad Seed' television score.
