Found a barbeque cookout and hoe down on instagram that robert earle keen was playing at in Temple, Texas . They would have been kicking on after the day as we went to air - so I got a few names off the poster and shared them with y'all...

The new protest song from Neil Young, "Big Crime", it's angry and right on and we can't wait till we get a proper mix of it so we can hear all the words - it was recorded at a soundcheck in Chicago but released by Neil Young. Interesting New Zealand music too in the show. Gil Landry is a current favourite.

It's two years since host Bernie Griffen passed on to that big radio show in the sky. His sister Angela Griffen is in the studio with his partner host Kirsten Warner to play some tunes he would have loved or inspired by him. It was lots of fun with a few tears.
