Down into the blues hole for a couple of hours
It’s a dreary drizzly afternoon out in Tāmaki Makaurau so cuddle up to your radio for the warming power of funk and soul music. This week joining myself and other funky uncle @kirkjames75 is Éire’s own Aideen Ryan, treating us to some Modern Soul, Disco, Afro Boogie, into the Burger Highlife. We will also spin a few for the recently departed bass god Michael Henderson.
We finished our chapter book, Matilda this week! We'll start another one straight away so tune in next week for the first chapter of The Faraway Tree. We also chat birthday parties and make it to 19 on the pancake count!
