Finally, Rāmere is here! On The Breakfast Buffet we chat to Maggie from RadioActive about Cyclone Gabrielle and the people who have been affected from the Hawke's Bay region. Rachel explores anti nuclear music with with Dr. Kirsten Zemke in Travelling Tunes, Revulva's Phoebe Johnson dials in to talk about their latest music ahead of their gig tonight, and on Viewmaster Sam Sinnott talks about the chaos that ensues in the second season of 'Hunters'. Last but not least, Mac from Juno Is came in and had a chat with Rachel about their music and creative process. Whakarongo mai nei!
It is another covers show! Plenty of tunes to love and hate here.
Also, in sports the Plato's team cross live to comrade and 95bFM drive host Tuva'a Clifton who is representing Samoa (and bFM) at the Paris Olympics in the canoeing. Tuva'a gives us all the goss on the ground about the food, the anti-sex beds, and the mysterious muffin man.
This week I had the pleasure of having old mate (long time collaborator/shit talker and all around GC), Matt from Razored Raw curating a majority of the show. Matt and I have been trading tapes for fuckin' ages, so he had no problem whipping up this killer mix of punk, metal, no wave, crust, grind and noise + every other fuckin' dope thing I've forgotten; while the first part of the show is a paranoid single sided tape from me that I'm sure reflects my week.
