It's NZ Music Month, and Jubt is joined in the studio by Peter McLennan, local musician and writer, who is in the process of writing a book on the history of Auckland label Deepgrooves, and to present a mix featuring the best of the label including tracks from Rhythm & Business, Urban Disturbance, The Mighty Asterix, The New Loungehead, Sulata, Jules Issa, Combinations and many more. Later in the show, NZ Music's king of funky digging Dujon Cullingford presents part two of his Disco Downunder mixes, with Leo de Castro, Dalvanius Prime, Pacific Eardrum, Sahara, Rodger Fox Big Band, Certain Sounds '80, Beaver & The Flyers, and a monster Billy Cobham cover by the 1860 Band. Essential listening!

Welcome to the last Breakfast of the first week of 2021! What a year it's already turning out to be. Kicking off the show is Tinseltown's Fabian Fanboy with his latest movie recommendations. Then Rachel chats to Associate Professor Amy Fletcher on what the flying hell is happening over the U.S. which proves to be a highly interesting and informative talk. Later in the show she talks to PHF about new music and their upcoming gig. All with some great music leading us through the show. Whakarongo mai and have a wonderful weekend.
