This week's show featured new music from Hemi Hemingway and Vulfpeck. Sam also pays tribute to Black Midi guitarist Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin and Greatful Dead founder Bob Weir who both passed away last week.
Minimal shit talk from Mookie, Buzzy and Benny as they fumble around with seven inches all night, nothing particularly new, mostly old shit, but fuck me if the Cry Now, Cry Later comps don't go hard as eh. Remember when black metal bands insulted each other in their liner notes? We sure do.

My first show of 2026 was a trip through the ages. With our usual disregard for genre boundaries we kicked off with one of my absolute favourite artists, The Space Lady! - shouts to Monday Drive host Matthew Crawley for introducing me to her wonderful world many years ago. Stepping up the bpm we touched back down to dancefloor earth with Marie Davidson, Austin Ato & Dave Giles II and Secret Soul Society, ramping it up with Vanessa Worm and the whistling prowess of BEJENEC. Yes, we have a whistling choon!!!
Thursday host Emma Gleason rings in the new year with a couple of friends in the 95bFM studio, including musician Eric Scholes, who shares some formative tracks and current favourites.
This week on Swap Meet Radio, we're moving through some favorites from the collection - Michał Urbaniak (RIP), the Visioneers, Lucas Arruda, and a couple from the new Nas and Preemo, and the current fave from ELIZA. Throw in some Turkish funk with Nese Karaböcek, Brazilian vibes from El Michels Affair and Rogê, and that DNA version of "Tom's Diner" tucked in there too.
Kirk drifts into some boogie and soul with France Joli, the Ritchie Family, and Rockie Robbins, plus summer tracks from the McCrays and Ben & The Tight Squeeze Band. A little bit of everything - Paul Hardcastle, Freeez, Str4ta. Good music!
