Today on your bFM Breakfast: First rainy Monday in a wee while, kinda nice eh; Mike's got a real good Metal Memory to share this Monday; Jenna likes libraries, surprise surprise; and Natural Ange is here to cure all those colds that came with the rain today. Don't worry, bFM's got you covered.
Today on your bFM Breakfast: Another beautiful day coming up, thank you Rick Breeze; Mikey's What Am I is a bit of pain relief; His Worship is talking tree protection, Ihumātao and the big bucks; and Sam talks TV and vampires. Big Breakie this morning.
Today on your bFM Breakfast: A few words from the man himself, Big Breakfast to take in this morning; "In the interests of station budget belt-tightening and being the best Daddy I can be, it’s with a heavy but eternally grateful heart I am announcing my departure from The Greatest Radio Station In The World - 95bFM. I know, we’ve been through this before (a few times, right?). My love for this job is deep, eternal and well documented. Returning to bFM and being asked to host the Breakfast show for the last two years was unexpected, utterly flattering and has been a very very good time. I can now say I’ve clocked up over 25 years with this plucky grunty little workhorse of a station and for that i couldn’t be more proud. If the station has ingested even a little of my energy, my desire for our cool South Pacific beachside city and my adoration of great great music , then I feel I’ve done my job. Making great radio is what I love doing and an exciting thrilling future beckons! See you there! My deepest Love and Respect to all of you have helped create radio with me and all who have enjoyed listening to that radio. Thank you thank you thank you. Don’t panic. I’ll still see you at gigs." As well as all our other usual Wednesday carry-on.
