In Hour 1 we welcome Stephen Hindman from The Golden Filter who started a new label this year called 4GN3S with the intention of releasing the more free flowing, genre-bending spectrums of analog electronic music. The first release was “Talk Talk Talk” which was getting rinsed at festivals by Dixon, Jennifer Cardini, Fort Romeau, Ame, Marvin & Guy and Ben UFO among others. He told us;

"The Golden Filter are known for jumping around different styles within one EP which perhaps can be seen as a negative by purists, but we love so many different kinds of music and have not problems jumping around genres as long as it all fits well together. I’m definitely inspired by friends’ labels like Optimo Music and Dark Entries and also even big labels like XL - I still have my SL2 records i got in Ohio back when they came out… Anyway, in keeping with that ethos of genre fluidity, this mix sort of reflects the kinds of music I am drawn to."

In Hour 2 we hand over to Tim  Parker who has maintained a secure taste-maker status at the heart of the British hip-hop and alt-electronica landscape as a club & radio DJ for almost a decade. His Slanted EP drops on 31st August featuring 3 original compositions and a guest appearance from BSN Posse. He had this to say about his mix;

"I always enjoy playing at our 20/20 club nights, especially on the Corsica sound system where even the most stripped back music can sound incredible. I have played at various times of night and this mix is a taster of tracks which could go down right as the doors open, all the way through to some heavier hitters. It's essentially a raw mix of beats straight from the turntables, featuring lots of both old and new cuts."
