💚 Hello beautiful humans, step inside as Eli hurls you into the genre washing machine for 3 hours. Thank you as always for checking in with the show. More indie/alternative flavours with a tendancy for the 2000-2015 period on this show, slightly less electronica.. for now. 💚 A few technical hiccups and sloppyness, so thank you for bareing with that :) See you next week.
Dr Kirsten Zemke chats psychobilly tracks on Travelling Tunes. Julien Dyne from Half Hexagon is chatting about The Method, the new track with an accompanying video. Viewmaster Litia reviews a new film out of Aotearoa, The Moon Is Upside Down. Holly Arrowsmith chats about Neon Bright, the second single from her forthcoming album. Whakarongo mai nei!
Back at it again with the cool jams, it’s Annabel and Callum and the 95bFM Top Ten! This week on the show; after a concerning update from Jonathan Pearce and his underground Data Centre, we crowd sourced the lyrics to Venus by Shocking Blue; we launched the first rendition of our newly titled “Crudetube” segment; we welcomed special guest Taylor MacGregor to the show to crank some Yacht Rock; and drank / reviewed some delicious whisky… all the while counting down the biggest songs in the nation.
Happy July! For the first of the month Lucia plays some of her favourite tracks including Stella Donnely, Parquet Courts, and Juniore. Greta O'Leary joins us for Fancy New Band playing some beautiful tunes from her upcoming debut EP!
