💚 Apologies for the delay in getting this to you.
Today's show features a plethora of new music thanks to last weeks bandcamp Friday. We hear new cuts from sensational new Japanese dream pop group TAMTAM. Scattered throughout is reissued Congolese funk and grooves from Costa Rica via famous label Discodelic. Indie favourites Future Islands feature and we hear from old favourites Sneaky Feelings, Cocteau Twins, CAN, and The Roots. Obscure new club-adjacent music features throughout for those with an electronically minded ear (Leod, Burial, Bluetoof, Synkro, and Joy Orbison).
There's plenty of gaps in this weeks spotify playlist as we feature many tracks not available on streaming services (and not available generally, looking at you brand new Rewind Fields track).
See you all in a couple of days, same place, same time. 💚
💚 Kia ora wonderful creatures. Today's show (again sorry for the delayed upload time, I've been off the grid - temporarily) see's an opening two hours of gorgeous dream-pop sounds. We place focus on two new records: Helaodo Negro's PHASOR and Mk.gee's Two Star & The Dream Police.
The final hour sees dancier flavours enter. Groove on lovelies.
Kia ora goregous creatures 💚 Today's show sees us open with a tribute to CAN's Damo Suzuki who passed this month. We then move through a plethora of new music from a wide range of genres. Although this show might be slightly more dance-forward as it is bRave week after all - grab a last minute ticket if they're still available!
Dub flavours are covered with new music from Devon Rexi, Nyquist, and an old favourite from Mala. New music from indie-darlings MGMT andVampire Weekend also features. We also sneak a few Thursday 1-4 favourties via La Caution and Cheb i Sabbah to keep all happy.
💚 Thank you for listening. We open up with some jazz / dub / drum and bass in the first 30. Before flowing through fresh music from here, there and everywhere. Hopefully there is something in here for everyone. New releases from Aotearoa + abroad, with some old favourites scattered amongst.
💚 Thank you all for listening beautiful creatures. Dive into a show littered with old favourites wedged between fresh new releases. Slightly less emphasis today on the electronic world of things - maybe we'll rectify that next week. 💚
