Andrea Gardner is a Whangārei-based artist. The Arts House Trust are currently hosting her exhibition When Mauve Does the Tango in association with the Auckland Festival of Photography.
The exhibition is an exploration of staged photography, presenting subjects in forms of disguise, exploring the ideas of identity, selfhood and the tension found in female experience.
