Yesterday the Labour-NZ First coalition announced they will be increasing the minimum wage to 20$ per hour by 2021. Currently, the minimum wage sits at $15.75. Unite Union represents more than 7000 workers from the fast food industry to Sky City, most of whom are on minimum wage.
