Peer Support in Mental Health and Addiction w/ Taimi Allen Board Member at Te Hiringa Mahara: 29 June, 2023

This week the Aotearoa Mental Health Commission, Te Hiringa Mahara, released a paper assessing just how crucial peer support is in mental health and addiction recovery.

They have called for more investment in peer support as a way of giving our mental health and addiction recovery sectors the boost they need.

Rawan spoke with board member Taimi Allen on the importance of this framework and the need to increase it especially in the workforce.
