Universal Design in our 'shovel-ready projects' please: May 27, 2020

The Human Rights Commission is calling for more inclusive design when considering ‘shovel-ready projects’ in the Covid-19 rebuild. Disability Rights Commissioner Paula Tesoriero has called on the government to ensure that accessibility and universal design will be considered in all stages of confirming those shovel ready projects. Lillian spoke to Paula to find out more about what they hope this will look and why this is such an issue in the first place. Lillian started by asking what her role entails.
