Sam's really excited about Love, Death & Robots this week, another Netflix speciality that's pushing the boundaries of a TV series structure. With episodes ranging from six to 17 minutes, this show takes the data from your Netflix algorithm's and produces a sequence specific to your taste. Wow.

Everybody loves a good medical drama, right? From House to Scrubs... the list goes on, and Sam's got a personal favourite on that list. New Amsterdam is one season deep, based on the book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital by Eric Manheimer. The series follows Dr. Max Goodwin, the medical director of one of the oldest public hospitals in the US, with goals to reform the neglected facility. Sam reckons you should get amongst. 

Another superhero series suggested by Sam but does it make the cut for top five? We know there's a lot of 'superhero shows' out at the moment, but Umbrella Academy is new, and Sam reckons your time is better spent watching this than Netflix's Russian Doll. Tough call.

Is there anything greater than a show compared to a real life Hogwarts? Sam, the man himself, compares Deadly Class to Hogwarts and if that's not enough to entice you then what is? The show is based on the graphic novel, an unlikely coming-of-age story set in 1980's punk era with a killer soundtrack, following ten characters (a lot, we know) on their high school journey.
