Victims of institutional child abuse will receive a formal apology from the Government this year, following the Royal Commission into the abuse. 

Controversial politician Pauline Hanson’s political party has been dealt a massive blow, after Senator Brian Burston quit her party on Thursday. 

Queensland has updated legislation that previously forced transgender people to divorce before legally changing genders.
