Ready Steady Learn w/ Dr. Vickie Shim: September 5, 2017

New Zealand has one of the highest incidences of brain concussion in the world (sup rugby). Yet not only is there is no accepted treatment available, there's often argument as to what even constitutes 'a concussion'. Dr. Shim's research is gathering data from the frontlines of head injury (sup rugby) and information from the behaviour of concussed brain cells within the animal kingdom to discover new potential for concussion treatments in humans. Best put down the Jackass VHS though - prevention's still the best cure.
